The House

A family home — its history, its character

La Ferrière is first and foremost a home that has been lived in and handed down — a true maison de famille. It is no reconstructed set: its character comes from having stayed itself.

The history

[TODO: history of the house — period of construction, origin of the name “La Ferrière”, the Heydlauf family story and how the house was passed down.]

Held today by SCI Ferrière, the house remains maintained and inhabited by the family, who now open it to selected projects: film shoots, workshops, retreats.

The house and its spaces

[TODO: factual description of the house — number of rooms, notable features (fireplaces, panelling, staircase…), condition, furniture.]

Its volumes, materials and light give the place its character; every room has an atmosphere of its own.

The grounds

[TODO: description of the grounds — area, garden, notable trees, courtyard, any outbuildings.]

Surroundings and access

[TODO: surroundings — nearest village, landscapes, shops, points of interest.]

[TODO: access — distance and travel time from Paris, nearest railway station, motorway, airport.]
